Was It Abuse?

Yeah, it was. I didn't know it. I didn't think a 6'5" 280# guy could be the victim of abuse by a tiny little woman. What would people think? How would they treat me? 

You know, my whole life I really cared a lot about what people thought of me. From theme I was very young, I loved being the center of attention, I loved performing, and I really loved people telling me how much they enjoyed it. I remember as a small child, memorizing things like the presidents, or books of the Bible, or anything that would give me a something to show off. I remember being the center of attention when my grandparents' friends would visit. 

So, I cared a LOT about what people thought. To the point that I was dishonest about things so people would still like me.

How dare I look at her phone? Or suspect anything? How dare I? 

Anytime anyone did anything she didn't like she would explode.

Monarch Dental, Target, Doctor's Offices, Work.

She'd file a complaint with HR.

She went to rehab and came out worse.

Defining Moments

I think that I each of our lives we have a handful of moments that define us. Sometimes it's being in the right (or wrong) place at the right time, some times it's what life throws at us.  When I was very young, probably elementary school, on a few occasions I went to visit my grandfather when he was at work.  He worked for South Central Bell, one of the AT&T regional operating companies.
